TAV Piping Specialties

Type TAV is high capacity thermostatic air vent. Its balanced pressure design stainless steel welded actuator is capable of discharging air within 35°F / 2°C of saturated temperature. Thermostatic actuator employs a conical valve lapped in matched sets with the seat ring assuring tight shut off. Vent are stainless steel bodied suitable for pressures to 650 psig / 45 bar and available in NPS 3/8 to 1 / DN 10 to 25 with NPT or socket weld connections.

NLD Series Free-Floating Lever Drainer

The Drainer NLD Series Free-Floating Lever Drainer is a float operated valve that has a modulating flow characteristic. It will drain liquids from compressed air systems with minimum air loss. The valve and seat assembly, inside the drainer, are connected to a stainless steel float that is in a closed position. As liquid flows into the drainer, the float rises, lifting the plug off of the valve seat to discharge the liquid at the same rate as it is received.

Drain Air Piping Specialties

The liquid drain trap is a thermodynamic design with screwed NPT connections. Effectively removes condensate from compressed air systems with minimum air loss and rapid shutoff. The internal mechanism is stainless steel with a nylon muffler.

Venter NAV Series Free-Floating Lever Air Vent

The NAV Series air/gas vent is a float-type design capable of discharging air or gas in a pressurized liquid system. All components including sealed body, seat and valve are made of stainless steel and are available in NPS 1/2 or 3/4 / DN 15 or 20 inlet and NPS 1/2 / DN 15 outlet with NPT end connection.

Condensate Commander Pump

Condensate Commander is a pressure vessel drainer pump operated by steam, compressed air or other pressurized gas to 200 psig / 13.8 bar. Body is a fabricated steel ASME code to 200 psi / 13.8 bar. Pump mechanism is all stainless steel without external packing or seals. Mechanism employs one spring operating in continuous compression. When required, unit is equipped with an external cycle counter, sight glass and insulating jacket.

Noise Insulation Piping Specialties

Muffling Orifice reduces the generation of pressure regulator noise at its source. It provides an economical means of attenuating high flow noise by 6 to 12 dBA. The Muffling Orifice consists of a steel plate with primary orifices to which is welded a stainless steel plate with secondary orifices. It is engineered for each individual application to maximize noise reduction without reducing regulator capacity.
