Royal Series Compact Temperature Control Unit |
|
|
Compact Royal Series TCU |
Benefits & Features
Sterlco's Royal Series Compact Temperature Control Unit comes standard with 3/4 to 7.5 hp (horsepower) pumps and 9 to 24 kW heater. Its state-of-the-art design features simplified internal cast or optional non-ferrous fluid circuit with 40% fewer connections and 80% fewer mechanical parts. It also features a higher efficiency pump for higher flow rates at lower pressure. The result is dramatically enhanced water flow for superior temperature control. |
- Front-facing, liquid-filled "to and from process" pressure gauges for enhanced accuracy and "at a glance" monitoring.
- Fully accessible NEMA 12 electrical enclosure meets NFPA 79 standards with branch fusing, disconnect switch and single-point connection.
- Innovative two-fastener, quick-release panels for ultra-fast internal access.
- Solenoid and pressure relief valve located externally for easy maintenance and added safety.
- Vertically mounted, higher efficiency centrifugal bronze-fitted pump with seal flush line.

Positive/Negative Pressure Temperature System; 9012 Series |
|
|
Positive/Negative Pressure TCU |
Benefits & Features
Sterling's Positive/Negative Pressure Temperature Control Unit comes standard with 2hp and 9kW heater. Stay in production while you wait to fix a leaking mold. Troublesome cooling circuit leaks in processes can result in serious production loss. The leaks may be due to small stress cracks, which leak when under pressure. Sterling's solution is that their temperature controllers use a liquid Venturi to draw water through mold. Precise temperature control is provided by the operation of a microprocessor controller that activates a heater or a cooling water solenoid as required. |
- Adjust easily via operation of an external hand operated valve handle.
- Quick interchangeability reduces downtime by getting you back into production.
- Three phase 9 kW electric immersion heaters are suspended vertically for longer heater life with maximum temperature of 180°F (82°C).
- Mechanical safety is provided by a high-pressure relief valve.
- Designed for easy substitution for any standard water temperature controller. It uses the same hose and piping connections and does not require external air source.

Heat Extractors |
|
|
Heat Extractor |
Benefits & Features
Sterling Heat Extractors give constant flow at all times, and automatically cool as necessary to hold the temperature which you have selected. The high flow rate of the Heat Extractor is intended to develop turbulence in the water as it passes through your process. This high turbulence can substantially boost the cooling rate from process when compared with laminar flow normally found. |
- Increase cooling rate.
- Eliminate condensation (sweat) by achieving excellent cooling at temperatures just above dew-point.
- Provide Zone Control for each machine without need to restrict the flow to achieve a certain process temperature.
